I got tired of all these “Harry Potter is my childhood” graphics. I don’t like the expression. Why? Because Harry Potter isn’t just my childhood. To say that would mean I’m over it. It’s not important to me anymore. But it still is. And I’m not a child. Harry Potter will always be part of my life, and how I grow up to be the person that I am, and the person I will be.
Pokemon is my childhood, Power Rangers is my childhood, Barbies are my childhood. But Harry Potter will always be my past, my present, and hopefully my future, if I ever have kids of my own to share the magic with.
Amen, sister.
